Refund & Cancellation Policy

Forged Web LLC provides web development, website management, and related digital services. This policy outlines our approach to refunds, cancellations, and project termination.


Project Payments & Milestones

Our projects are typically billed according to agreed milestones or installment plans. Unless otherwise specified in a contract:

  • 25% Milestone: Covers essential research, discovery, and approved design work.
  • 50% Milestone: Covers setup of the site framework, technology stack, branding, and core functionality.
  • 75% Milestone: Covers integration of media and copy, site testing, and revisions.
  • 100% Milestone: Covers all final functionality, integrations, and launch approval.

Payments made toward completed milestones are non-refundable, as they represent work already performed.


Project Cancellation

Clients may cancel projects at any stage. Refunds or outstanding balances are determined as follows:

  • Before the 25% milestone: The Client is responsible for design services and any specialized services already rendered.
  • At or after the 25%, 50%, or 75% milestones: The Client is responsible for payment proportional to the milestone reached (including design, development, and specialized services).
  • After launch (100% milestone): The Client is responsible for the full project cost, as well as accrued hosting or third-party service costs.

Hosting, Domains & Ongoing Services

  • Ongoing costs such as hosting, domains, email services, or maintenance retainers are billed separately and are non-refundable once the service period has begun.
  • Hosting or domain services may be suspended if payment is more than 15 days overdue, after reasonable attempts have been made to contact the Client.

Transfers & Termination

If either party chooses to end the engagement:

  • Forged Web LLC will make reasonable efforts to assist in the transfer of website files, domains, or related materials.
  • The Client is expected to extend the same professionalism and cooperation during this process.
  • Outstanding balances must be settled before any transfers are completed.

Refund Processing

Refunds (when applicable under the terms above) will be processed back to the original payment method within 10–14 business days of approval.


No Refunds for Completed Services

Because our services involve significant time, expertise, and custom work, completed milestones and delivered services cannot be refunded.
