Daniel grew up as a missionary kid in East Africa and the green hills of Tennessee before spending nearly seven years in the Marine Corps, including assignments with the State Department providing Embassy security and VIP protection overseas. After his service, he earned a BFA in Photography. He has lived in seven states, six countries, and villages to Capitals before eventually resettling permanently in a cozy town in Tennessee.

Daniel has explored multiple industries, gaining broad experience, before trading cameras for code. He has built a career in software and web development while raising a family, working as a Full Stack Developer, UX Engineer, Web Development Instructor, and Senior Web Developer, alongside freelance and volunteer projects. Outside of work, he enjoys grilling steaks, the outdoors, and a touch of facetious commentary.
